Improving and Advancing

Every project comes with its breakthroughs and challenges, and ours is no exception. As we move forward, we’re tackling further adjustments, testing, and a few unexpected fixes along the way. Look at how far we have come.

We’ve made great progress with our Grafana dashboards fully set up, providing a clear way to visualize sensor data in real time. On the software side, sensor code is more than halfway done, with the GPS and BMP sensors (measuring temperature, altitude and pressure) already tested and working. Other sensors are still being tested, and we’re making improvements along the way. Our LoRa communication module has its basic configuration set, but more coding and testing is needed to make sure data transmission is stable.

On the hardware side, PCB design is officially underway, bringing us closer to a fully working setup. However, we hit a small roadblock – a mistake in our circuit schematic means we’ll need to redo part of it. It’s a minor setback but an important fix that will prevent further issues down the line. As for our 3D design, the initial model has been almost entirely refined, and we're making final adjustments to ensure everything fits together properly. Check out the refined model below!

With so many things moving forward at once, the complexity is growing, but so is our momentum. Next up is more testing, fine-tuning, and making sure everything works together smoothly. Stay tuned as we get closer to our goal!
